The DISCOPNEUS is composed of cast-iron discs and pneumatics that are working together.
The pneumatic wheels of the DISCOPNEUS tamp the upper-part of the ground between the tractor wheels and control the working depth of the cast-iron discs axles.
This control can be done with graduated cranks or in option with 2 double effect hydraulic jacks controlled from the driver’s post thanks to a solenoid valve (this option is really appreciable when the grounds are heterogeneous).
The DISCOPNEUS is adaptable in 3 points on tractors equipped with a front lift. It is a tool pulled from far in front, which permits an efficient « rudder » effect that eases the steering.
The head of the machine is equipped with a rolling path in which 2 oversized rollers are moving. That permits to follow smoothly the floating and auto-steering movements of the machine and ease its driving.
In order to open the ploughing, a VIBRO extra-court (a Canadian one with 2 rows of teeth) set-up by graduated cranks is available in option.
The DISCOPNEUS is delivered with discs of diam 700 30°, or in option discs diam 700 45° or diam 600.
To conclude, the DISCOPNEUS is a multipurpose 2-in-1 tool, having the qualities of both disc press wheels and pneumatic press wheels, to fit every season and every possible soil.
The DISCOPNEUS uniformly tamps the ground on the whole working width and increases the ploughing conditions.
